Amsdell Collection - Nov. 6, 2022

Purchased used in 2013 from a Charlotte, North Carolina dealer with 1937 (not actual) miles. As reported in the listing of the Thunderbird by the dealer, the Thunderbird was originally exported to Italy and was there until approximately 1994 when it returned to the US and eventually being restored by the experts at Hill's Automotive in Racine, Ohio. Since the 2013 purchase, the Thunderbird, as with the rest of the collection, has been stored and on display in Mr. Amdell's Boca Raton commercial garage, as seen in the photos shown here. Extensive records regarding the restoration and transporting to the US accompany the Lot. Amazingly, the original 1957 invoice No. 293698 survives and accompanies this Lot.
