This 2020 BMW M4 is one of 750 Heritage Edition models manufactured to mark the finale of F82-generation M4 production. The 750 unit production was segregated into three different preset specifications, with 250 being produced in each colorway. Highlights which were specific to Heritage Edition models include tri-color "M" striping embedded into the carbon fiber roof, special-finish 666M wheels in Orbit Grey, two-tone Merino leather seats, contrasting stitching, and tri-color "M" themed carbon fiber interior trim. The original price for the Heritage Edition package was $9,000.

This particular Heritage Edition is finished in Individual Velvet Blue Metallic with a two-tone Silverstone and Black Merino leather interior and contrasting Purple stitching. All Heritage Edition models also included the important Competition Package ($4,750 option). The Competition Package includes various improvements to performance and aesthetics such as a power increase to 444 horsepower, 20" 666M style wheels, electronic damper control (EDC), active "M" differential, and extended shadowline trim. These improvements in performance and dynamics compliment the "M" dual-clutch transmission equipped on this particular example. Given this 2020 M4 is a facelifted (LCI) model, it also benefits from a number of technological developments such as the NBT EVO infotainment system (including Apple Carplay), Harman Kardon sound system, and refreshed LED taillights.

Mechanically, this M4 is completely unmodified and remains as it was when it left the factory. Some aesthetic modifications have been made however, including the addition of an OEM M Performance Alcantara steering wheel, OEM M Performance floor mats, JQ Werks/Madtrace magnetic carbon fiber paddle shifters, and red M1/M2 steering wheel buttons courtesy of IND Distribution. Externally, the car features paint matched reflectors front and rear and gloss black painted front fender vents (also sourced from IND), as well as aftermarket "GTS" style taillights. All of the stock parts, including the OEM steering wheel, buttons, paddle shifters, exterior vents, and taillights are included with this sale. This M4 also benefits from thousands of dollars of Paint Protection Film both externally and internally. The entire exterior, including the shadowline trim is wrapped in XPEL Paint Protection Film, with the wheel arch edges double wrapped for ultimate protection. Inside, the Heritage Edition-specific tri-color carbon fiber trim, as well as the infotainment screen, is also wrapped in XPEL PPF to protect against any scuffs or scratches. All of the PPF, as well as the interior leather is also protected by Gtechniq ceramic coatings. All of this contributes to concours-level condition throughout the vehicle.
